William Grooms was born
on November 7, 1920 in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
He enlisted in the Pennsylvania State Police in 1942 and
graduated
from the Training School 1942, and was assigned to Greensburg.
William also served in the U.S. Air Corps.
